Q: What time do gates open? What time do performances start and end every day?

A: Gates to the amphitheater open at 11am CT both days. Music starts at noon CT and ends at 12:30am CT both days. 

PARKING LOT AND CAMPGROUND GATES

A: Gates to the parking lot and campgrounds open at 8am CT and close at 10pm CT both days.

Q: Where can I find the lineup? Will set times be announced? When?

A: The lineup and set times are available at www.lightningbugmusicfestival.com under the Lineup and Schedule tabs. You can also view them on our Instagram page.

Q: Where can I find the schedule for other on-site activities?

A: Check out our Instagram page. All experiences on-site will be available once doors open and until close.

Q: What are the parking options?

A: Day parking is free at the venue a short walk from the stages. Overnight campers will set up camp next to their vehicles for their entire stay; camping passes do not allow in-and-out privileges. 

Q: Can I leave and reenter the same day?

A: Festival patrons (including campers) can leave and re-enter the amphitheater as often as they would like. Note: Camping passes do not allow vehicle in-and-out privileges from the campgrounds.

Q: Does Lightning Bug Music Festival have age restrictions?

A: Lightning Bug Music Festival is an all ages, family friendly festival. Kids under 12 get in free. The festival strives to create a safe and family friendly atmosphere for all ages.

Q: Is there a map of the Lightning Bug Music Festival grunds?

A: A map of the amphitheater and camping grounds is available at www.lightningbugmusicfestival.com under the Map tab and on our Instagram.

Q: What is the capacity for the festival?

A: Our venue has ample space for festival goers to spread out and enjoy the weekend’s activities with a capacity of 4,000 people per day.

Q. What kinds of payment will be accepted inside the festival?

A: All vendors will accept both cash and card payments. 

Q: Will ATMs be on-site?

A: No.

Q: Is the festival rain or shine?

A: Yes.

Q: What items are allowed and prohibited at the amphitheater? What items are allowed and prohibited on the campground?

A: The following items are allowed:

  • Positive attitudes

  • Low-backed chairs & blankets/sheets/towels (behind sound boards only)

  • EZ-UP/pop-up tents (100 feet behind the sound boards only)

  • Empty reusable water bottles and hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles

  • Two sealed water bottles

  • Children’s beverages, food and snacks

The following items are PROHIBITED from AMPHITHEATER GROUNDS:

*Please note: Outside food and beverage (including alcohol) and canopies/tents are allowed at the campground but not in the amphitheater.

  • Bad attitudes

  • Fireworks

  • Charcoal grills

  • Open fire pits/firewood/tiki torches

  • Kegs

  • Pets without proper paperwork

  • Drones

  • Weapons (including guns, explosives, knives bigger than your palm)

  • Illegal substances

  • Glass

  • Food

  • Alcohol

  • Pocket knives

  • Any items deemed dangerous or distracting by our search and security teams

Q: Will there be water stations?

A: Yes, the festival will have a water filling station. Guests are allowed to bring in one empty non-glass water bottle and two sealed water bottles. Bottled water also will be available for purchase at the festival.

Q: What types of food and beverage will be available for purchase?

A: We will have a wide variety of food trucks and vendors including vegetarian options in the amphitheater.  Beverages will include domestic beer, seltzers, bottled water, smoothies and frappes. A health and wellness market will also be on-site outside the amphitheater and campgrounds on Saturday and Sunday mornings with limited food options including fresh produce and smoothies.

Q: Can I smoke?

A: Although smoking is allowed, please be considerate of your neighbors. Security may ask you to refrain from smoking if it bothers those around you. You MUST follow the Security Staff’s  instructions – which may include not smoking in the crowd.

Q: Will there be a lost and found? 

A: Yes. Please reach out to info@lightningbugmusicfestival.com. Due to the time needed for clean-up and possible volume of missing items, your patience is greatly appreciated.

A: Backline is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization close to the Lightning Bug Music Festival team’s heart that connects music industry professionals with mental health and wellness resources.
